EQUUS (3) Was dominant when winning by 4 1/2L last start here but matched against a stronger field. Jockey Jomar Torres and trainer Pompeyo Gomez have enjoyed a lot of success together. Good chance in this event. DRY POWDER (1) Ran 4th last run at Aqueduct. Happy to overlook that run and drawn beautifully. Good to see jockey Paco Lopez is jumping on but taking on stronger rivals. Better hope. FLOWERS FOR ME (5) Gave away some ground when 8th last run at Gulfstream Park. Expected to rebound and dropping in grade. Change in trainer. One of the hopes.
